Brownrigg Hall was built by Quakers in 1695. It stands approximately 800 feet above sea level in the Lake District National Park. It is a traditional 100 acre mixed fell farm [cattle and sheep]. You ‘ll also find several free range hens and two very friendly goats, Primrose and Snowdrop, wandering around our farm. Various forms of wildlife and birds of prey may be spotted from time to time. It has been farmed by the Benn family for over 70 years.

The holiday caravans are superbly located. The elevated site is peaceful, the views breathtaking, looking down the valley to the villages of Caldbeck, Hesket-Newmarket and beyond, across to the Lakeland fells [High Pike & Carrock]. Traditional dry stone walls, and several mature trees surround the park, keeping it private, and separate from the farm.

This area is ideal for walking/cycling/touring and relaxing. There is access to fells directly from the farm. The Cumbrian Way [walk], C2C and Reivers [Cycle routes] run close by.
